About
Erin is a Deaf actress who made her Broadway debut in Grey House as an understudy for Bernie, A1656, and Marlow. She can speak using her voice, sign using American Sign Language (ASL), and can speak and sign at the same time (called "simcom"); she has experience performing using all three of these.
Up next, Erin is thrilled to play Violet in Deaf Broadway’s Violet at the Lincoln Center. After that, she will be on the interpreting team for the ASL performances of the Beauty and the Beast Broadway National Tour as it makes its Boston tour stop. She will be interpreting for Belle.
Erin is passionate about improving accessibility, spreading awareness, and increasing Deaf and disabled representation. She is eager to perform both roles that are written specifically for Deaf actors as well as characters typically considered to be hearing but reimagined as Deaf, whether this is on stage in plays and musicals, or on screen. Erin hopes to be the representation for younger generations that she didn't have growing up.
Erin is a cast member on the popular, Emmy-nominated children’s program, Ms Rachel’s Songs For Littles (on Netflix and YouTube). Her advocacy work has also led to features in Teen Vogue, Forbes, CBS Inside Edition, Buzzfeed, and more.
